New Samepoint Look and Metrics
Samepoint.com now has a new look and a new engine. These are exciting times for samepoint as there are many changes coming. On the Horizon there will be a full blown government search engine that will expose just how social the government really is.

We have made many changes to our website. The most obvious change is the way the search results render. We’ve taken a bold step in trying to organize the social media landscape as we know it today. Searching the Social Media Universe
The folks at Samepoint are always beta testing. There is an unadvertised search option that can be found here:

This searches all the top social media sites at once. Very powerful tool for brand managers.
Show all feature added
This is simple yet powerful feature. A twitter user asked us to add this. To take advantage of this, do a search.
The box on the left of the results that shows Number of comments and Sources has a link “Show all comments” below it. Click that and you can see all comments at once in a separate window.
Sort By Most Recent | Sort By Most Commented
This allows searchers to sort comments by the number of comments per point of conversation.
This feature was inspired by a twitter user’s feedback.
Why do some results look different?
Some results are shown as single points of conversation. That means the comments do not relate to each other. When this happens, the samepoint engine shows them in this “single comment” view.
One Search Result Page ?
Yes, only one page. Samepoint gives you a full view of your search topic on one page. Our goal is to allow you to discover what you need quickly and efficiently.
Point of Conversation
A Point of conversation is simply the topic folks are talking about. The samepoint conversation search engine can look at comments from multiple sources and bring them together to a single point of conversation.
This should help you look for what you need and not force you to go through comments you do not need too. Samepoint saves you time.

One Search Box, Many Possibilities
The samepoint.com search box is the one place to access many conversations. To can search by:
1) Keywords: Just like a standard search engine, you can type a key word and get recent relevant results.
